Conrail SD60's and SD80MAC's

Unread postby ColoradoRailfan » Mon Jul 10, 2017 4:18 pm

Has anyone ever made Conrail repaints for Ian's SD60I's and SD60M's, and his SD80MAC's? Ive searched for some and I couldn't find anyone who has made them.

Just type 'Conrail' in the file library search engine under engine repaints. There's a nicely done Conrail SD80MAC done by Buzz Baxter/buzz456 and an SD60M/I done by Justin Riese/Nitsujy12345.

I see the SD60's now, also I specifically said Ian's SD80MAC, not DTG's, since I dont own DTG's version

I'm not sure if anyone will do it, so I'm out of ideas.

Man, what a pain Eyein's SD80's are to repaint. Well, I thought since I made those SD60I's and such I'd finish out the other request you had.

I used an MSTS SD80's textures for this just to see how it would work. I still obviously had to cut the whole thing up and place corresponding parts bit by bit, but eyein's is not modeled the same as the MSTS one, making cabinet doors different sizes and such, so it was pretty hard actually.

Here it is:

Wouldn't be complete without a patched NS...

Looks pretty darn good so far! And you did a great job on those SD60Is with the CRQ and NS patch job paints. !!*ok*!!

Hi all, don’t mean to bump up an old topic, but I downloaded the CR SD60Is and installed them following the instructions. However I have no horn and bell sounds, it appears in the .bin file they are aliased to a P5 horn which does not exist in the EYEIN12 Sd60 horn folder. Any way I can edit and change these back to the default K5HM Horns? I can’t seem to edit the script.

Thanks!
