I know I just got done asking for something, but I wasn't expecting it to be done in a snap like that... I figured once it was possibly done I'd request something else. This time we come to a locomotive.

As I'm sure most CSX Fans and Railfans in general know, back in 2011 CSX Did an overhaul to some of their SD40-2's and gave them "Square Cabs" from Progress Rail, and renamed them as SD40-3's. Not only was it done to the 40-2's, but it was also done to the Smaller GP40, and the GP38-2 As well. Though not as common and frequent (And more recent than the 40-3), They are also members of the rebuild program.

As you can see, a child object is all that would be needed as a simple cab swap. Cab interior wouldn't even need to be changed, just the exterior view. Hopefully this will get some attention as apparently I'm not the only one who wants to see this in Railworks.

The interior would need to be changed. The controls are completely different.

It'd take a lot of work to make it "anatomically" correct on the inside... Though CSX aren't the only ones rebuilding to Dash 3 specs. A few of the old GP40-1's on our local shortline were rebuilt to Dash 3 specs at NRE at the request of Genesee & Wyoming, then Paducah and Louisville has some Dash 3 slug sets, and the list goes on...

Here's some shots if anyone feels like doing it... The main issues I'd see is doing the cab, inside and out and the rear handbrake stand on the back porch. Then again, I am NOT a modeler, so I have no clue how hard it'd be.
