That's an SD45-2.

Well, was. It's now an SD40-2R.

What does the 'R' stand for?

DTM is developing a SD45-2, however it is not out yet so you'll need to hold your horses until it is released.

Not in the case for BNSF, but it's the same concept. They rebuilt these with 16-645E3s.

im requesting this specifically for the UP DTM SD45 but do to the progression of time and company changes i know that this is now a rebuilt SD40-2 and in some cases SD40-2R
how ever the name of the model i would request this paint to be available for the model i mentioned earlier.

As stated earlier, you do realize that the locomotive you are showing is a SD45-2, not a straight SD45? There's a big difference between the two. No SD45s have ever been painted in Heritage 3/4 paint (As far as I know.)

SD45s didn't last long enough on BNSF for anything besides a patch
