Engineer/Conductor safety vests in the Kuju SD40-2

So, didn't exactly know where this was supposed to go so I went to the most reasonable topic, please do not jump on my case... just notify me and take it down or I will one, and we'll get it on the right topic

I was just thinking while playing the sim, There's this awesome Miami CSX Dash 8-40W YN3B repaint with some of the new sticker logos, I forget who it was made by. But anyway he/she had included a Engineer and Conductor with safety vests... I had tried to place them with the NS Dash 9 from the PennCoal route and it worked like a charm!! I was just wondering if anybody is willing to help me with this possible tedious task... I think for all the repaints I have of the Kuju SD40-2 the vested engineer/conductor would go great with them all! Any help is much appreciated!!

I did the reskins you mentioned and I'm glad you like them! The safety vest texture I included can work on pretty much any RSC/DTG US locomotive other than the GP38-2s, SD40s and commuter equipment. There may be a few other units where you can't use this texture for the crewmembers. The reason why is because the sole engineer in the SD40-2 (and others listed) cab has completely different textures than the two guys in all the other cabs. Anyways, I can edit the SD40-2's engineer for you so he has a vest. I may even release it if enough people are interested.

In TSW, perhaps the player will be able to put on or take off safety vests, hard hats, etc. Ah, but no: hard hats will be prizes so why not other safety equipment as well? The toy box is being stocked!

You are very welcome! It was my pleasure to do this. Took awhile to find where the Kuju engineer was being referenced, but once I did discover him and the texture file, it was all easy stuff!

You're welcome! The one that is up above is specifically for the Kuju SD40-2. The link below includes the texture for any other locomotive.

When you download this version, copy the included texture to ...RSC/Dash9Pack01/RailVehicles/Diesel/Dash9/Default/Driver/textures/. You can also use it in any other engine by finding the Drivers folder and overwriting the original file found in "textures".
