Would anyone with the TSR 89' flatcar be willing to do a "repaint" that has the black pipe load on it from the thrall bulkhead flats? Similar to this...

That shouldn't be too hard. Just find some pipes as a scenery item and (somehow) put them on the flatcar.

Here's something I put together years ago. Don't know what happened to it. Took hours of trial and error, but ran it for a few years.

Those look pretty darn good! Is that using the Stevens pass 89' flat? Would be cool to have a full length load like you did and another load that is split in two halves.

Maybe even some pipe this color...

There is also a good 89ยด flatcar in the ES44BNSFPack01 DLC (with the Pacific Surfliner scenarios).

About the trial and error for doing this work, I posted a method here to make a loaded flatcar with a minimum effort (no need for much trial and error):

viewtopic.php?f=39&t=16074&hilit=flatcars&start=90#p184276

The full thread has a lot of information related with flatcars

I'll take a swing at re-painting this load and see how it goes. This looks like fun if someone finds some other loads that might be interesting.

Those look great buzz! Is it possible to separate them into multiple stacks and different sizes?

You need to find a modeler for that. At this point I just do re-paints of existing models. If you find me a model I'll see what I can do with it.

I was just curious on how one would be able to do it. Sounds like it's not that simple. Do you have the bulkhead flats that have the shorter loads from Golden Age? Just curious if two stacks will fit on the 89' flatcar.

How would a person put different pipes on a train car if I made some pipes in different sizes?

Jon,
Read Jalsina post above. This works pretty nicely.

Which model is that with? I took a quick look and didn't see any pipe loads.

Buzz, it might not have been Golden Age. It's the 53' bulkhead flatcars.
