Hi again!
I was just surfing youtube for any tier 4 GEVO's in a railroad paint scheme (Not demo Units),and found out that BNSF and CSX have ordered some brand new tier 4 GEVO's!
But the question is,can someone do a modification to the default ES44 in railworks and make it so it has the tier 4 "stack"?

Does doing this have anything to do with repainting it? Or do we have to somehow edit the model so that the "stack" is there?

I'm not sure,as long as you can somehow convert everything into a railworks model.I know GreatNortherner makes his models with 3DCrafter.That's your best bet if you want your model to be converted.Otherwise I'm not sure.

ok because i have an SD70ACe model in inventor and its close to being ready to import.

yes it an SD70ACe. yes we already have one. but i thought we could use an updated model since the RSC one is getting a little older now.

Well yes,but be careful,DTG or RSC might catch you for all that copyright and legal stuff. But what we need is an AC4400CW,not to get off topic there, but still in on the ET44AC.

As long as the program can export to the correct format it should work fine, if not you may have to go export the model through another program like Blender or 3Dcrafter.
A sd70 model isn't copyrighted by DTG, he can freely make whatever model he wants, DTG has no copyrights on that.

Copyright wouldn't be an issue at all because its completely his own model from scratch.

A whole new model? That will take a long time to do.

So it's final? The ET44AC in railworks will be a whole new model?
