Would anyone be willing to reskin the N&W SD45 from the SD45 High Hood pack to the N&W 1776? I can't insert images into this thread (I don't know how), so here are some links to images.

Great screen name Harpers Ferry! I got to go there for the first time in 2013. I have been working on the 1776 in my spare time,it is 90 percent done. However, because of the mapping that was chosen for the base model,I have to make some compromising decisions, on hand rail color for example. The stanchions will all have to be the same color,as I can not paint all the short hood blue, and long hood red,I can paint the rails the matching color though. Here are shots of the engine at Glean Jean Ohio, near Waverly,at the Detroit,Toledo and Ironton connector. The cab number is dynamic,I have to decide to replace the numbers with gold ones,or paint the engine with the numbers, since it is the only engine in the scheme. Joe

Thanks! My last name is Harper, so I decided to go with Harper Ferry as my username. Your model of the 1776 looks fantastic! On the subject of the mapping issue; I'm fine with it, because you have a very great reskin! I can't wait to operate it!

Thanks for the compliment. I will also be doing the 6175,the SD-45 painted to match the N&W passenger equipment. I will try to speed up my work, since there is some interest. The irony with the 1776,is that it was usually ran short hood forward,on the point, though N&W was famous for its long hood forward operation.

Still working on it. I have been busy with Summer projects around the house. I just splashed color onto the frame to see what is what. Once I have the mapping nailed down,I hope to get the details finished. I will get it done, but it could be a month, yet.

Thanks! I am working on the DT&I from Springfield to Jackson. I think the part of the route people will find most interesting will be the N&W/DT&I/C&O junction in this area. My plan is to release this section of the route as a "sampler" of sorts. I will need more N&W DT&I equipment,so this unit is part of the plan.
