Hopefully this could be a much needed easy one to do? CSX had about thirty of these.
!!howdy!!

There are currently two orange MoW units that I am aware of. Both are Justin Cornell repaints. One is NERW and the other is OVS (by Lyric Winn). I was hoping someone could do the more popular CSX one with the big black CSX letters. It would look pretty cool on a siding with other MoW equipment (which we desperately need more of).

Thanks for reading!

I probably still have the PSD files for the NERW one. I was going to do a CSX long ago but forgot about it. I might have even started it, but I do not remember. It was going to be for Tori's C&O route.

Just need to work out where the number boards are to change them from black to white and change the numbers from white to black.

That's it!, that's it! HA! How about that!
I was able to find a copy of Tori's Beta 4.5 a while ago from some obscure site, but there was no rolling stock pack with it (I love the route BTW).

So I therefor humbly and respectfully, on my knees, eyes to the floor, hands in prayer, ask of thee, oh almighty model expert of experts, master of train simulation, and grand wizard of the air brush, if you could possibly consider finishing the model (with a little weathering) and upload it to the file library for all to admire and revel in endless enjoyment.

Waddya say? **!!bow!!**

How on earth do you do weathering !*don-know!*

What's with the front letters on the repaint? They're all messed up.

I should point out I'm a scenario creator and not a repainter. So these will not be as good as a repainters.

Hi Merlin,
Don't bother with the weathering - they look great with fresh paint!
With Bob's post on weathering, people can do their own, which is even better.
This has been a GREAT day!
Thank you much!
!*brav*!

Bad news I'm afraid. For some reason Windows would not load up this morning so I've had to do a fresh install. And I'm afraid as these were not quite ready I did not have a backup of these so I'm afraid they are lost. *!sad!*

At this point I'm going to say don't get your hopes up. But this one if I can do it will be on the RSC DLC model instead of the freeware one.

This is my first ever full repaint. It's not as good as what others might do as there are some areas I'm going to have to get better at.

And here is the finished loco. I've managed to take out the small details so that's something I'm going to have to get better at.

Not so shiny anymore.

Hey Merlin - Don't sweat it. It was real nice of you to try and I really appreciate it. It was actually a thrill watching the whole thing develop. But if you are not a repainter, then maybe someone else can take on the task. I would do it myself but I have only just begun to explore that realm and so far I have found it VERY difficult and too complicated to understand all the different options and settings - sort of sheds a little light on what these modelers have to go through just to produce a simple piece.

So here's to ya - !*cheers*!

Any takers out there?
