My top locos/routes I want for train sim. This gonna be very detailed so let's get into it.
1. The New York City Subway, accompanied by the R62 and R142 models...
This rapid transit system makes a cameo in both the Hudson Line and the NYNH line, though insufficiently and inadequately represented.
207th Street Yard.JPG
The 207th Street Yard can be seen from the Metro North's Hudson line near Spuyten Duyvil and Marble Hill. This is non-existent in the game though,

but the 225th street bridge does make an appearance and includes a very short section of the 1 line, that I commend them for.
6 Train - Westchester Ave. Line.jpg
The 6 line, running from the Northeastern Bronx to City Hall, runs parallel to the Hell Gate line at Oak Point Yard for a little while. DTG chose to represent it instead as a highway. DTG probably thought they could get away with it as one cannot see the tracks from below, in the cab.

Astoria-Ditmars Blvd Station - Hell Gate Viaduct.jpg
This is the worst one of all, the Astoria Ditmars station, serving as a termianl for the N and W lines, does not exist, even though it is right under the viaduct on the approach to the Hell Gate Bridge...

2. NYC/PRR/NYNH&H EMUs. (The NYC ACMUs, the PRR MP54s, and the NYNH&H Pullman 4400-series "washboards").
PRR MP54 - New Jersey.jpg
a. The MP54 was the ancestor to the Silverliner and Arrow EMU families. The MP54 was originally a coach design, but most were converted and built into EMUs, the MP54s lasted for over 50 years in commuter service, from the PRR to the PC, then Conrail, then SEPTA/NJDOT. The MP54s were finally retired when the Arrow III and Silverliner IV cars came into service.

b. The ACMUs were bought by New York Central and Penn Central railroads in the 1960s. They were the staple fleet of the Hudson and Harlem lines until the M1and M3 EMUs came in the 70s. There was also a similar type on the LIRR, classed MP72 or MP75. The LIRR cars were bought for the 1964-1965 World's Fair and were soon after turned into push-pull coaches. The LIRR push-pulls were retired when the Kawasaki C3 bi-level railcars came.
All the Ex-NYC/PC/CR/MTA ACMUs were retired in 2004, with the arrival of the M7As.

c. The Pullman 4400 series EMUs were built in the 1910-1920s for the New York, New Haven, and Hartford railroad. They were nicknamed "washboards," because of their steel or aluminum? fluting on the sides. They were retired in the 1970s, replaced by the M2 "Cosmopolitans." (That being said I would also like M1/M2/M3/M4/M6s)

And here's my 2 cents.

I love PRR/NYC-PC-CR era commuter equipment, and the MP54s would be a great addition for the ex-Pennsy NEC, the ACMU for the Hudson line, and Washboards for the NYNH route.
