:D Thanks Galen. I'm just pleased that you asked so politely; some of the "gimme-gimme" folks that grace our community could learn something from your example. Hope you have fun with those locos. Cheers!

Work in progress - here's just a taster.

Milwaukee SD45 #4002 on the turntable at Portage, WI engine facility. The engine facility is "guesswork" as the CP facility current is very small but then the network is much reduced from 1975-1985 when the route is set so some licence has been exercised. In the background is Portage Yard. Still a lot to do but it's coming on. Soon have the track finished complete with markers.

Been checking as there are discrepancies in the track plan of the photo compared with Portage, in particular there is a track curving away to the right of the yard in the photo not evident in any of the Portage info I have found. So I put on my detective hat (sorry, Fedora) and discovered the photo is a ringer for Stevens Point looking East, the track curving away is the line to Whiting and eventually Plover (on the old GBW). Confusing, as the search was for photos of Portage Railroad Yard and what you get is Railroad yard in Wisconsin, well they both are in WI so.........
Back to my imagination for now.
