Don't want to nitpick too much, but the lettering on the GN unit isn't quite right - you can see in this picture that the gap between "Great" and "Northern" sits inside the engine room door, not towards one end like you've got it.

The letters might also be a touch too large, although that might just be the angle. This might be down to whatever lighting settings you use, but your Pullman Green looks a bit black there . I'd recommend using the hex code #121C02, although even that might be a bit lighter than what it ought to be. Other than that, awesome work - I can't wait to give these a try out on the Hi Line or the Cascadian.

Looks great so far Only suggestion would be to make the dark portion come up a bit higher and start a little further back.

It should come up to just below the headlight and end right about halfway along the curved portion of the nose. I could be wrong, but I think the late freight scheme was more or less identical to the earlier version, just with less color to make it cheaper to apply. How you've got it on the original version is more or less the way it should be on this one.

Matt I don't want to get in a hassle with you however the picture I am work off of which posted on the first page of the request here clearly shows on that locomotive that the dark color is at the joint just above the rivet line on the side. That's where I have it. Further the point on the front does not go up to the bottom of the headlight. Go look at THAT picture and then come back and tell me what I am going that is in error. This is the second time you have called me out without bothering to look at the whole thread.

Doh, no need to be sorry Buzz! This is why you shouldn't try to multitask and write something at the same time . Based on that pic, that looks about spot on where you've got it .

Some progress. I think when I get done with this I'm going to do a FA2 in this paint scheme. The number boards more reflect the actual GN locos and they did have some FA2s.
