I've often wondered how that stuff is scaled withing a program so it looks correctly sized in the sim.

Model has to measure as actual size of the prototype in meters.

Here are some painting ideas.
I encourage anyone else to find pics of their favorite liveries for this car.

As far as I can tell, the roofs are actually white but heavily weathered.
I've only seen silver roofs on the PFE cars from the 50s and earlier and even then they were repainted into these schemes through the 60s and 70s.
This pic must have been taken during or after 1978 since some of the cars reflect the splitting of SP and UP from PFE.
