Placard would be a Combustible UN Code 1993

What's the 1203 gasoline?

Hey buzz, I'm a bit late on this and I don't intend to sound like *that* guy, but the center sections on RCRX Hydrochloric Acid cars are a ruddy orange-red. I have some photos of em at work I can upload for you in a while, till then I found this online

i was wondering does this game support tank car refueling? so way back in the day i seen few pic of bn sd40 with green tank car in between 2 locomotives and i guess the fueling depots where very far away on some routes so some of the sd40 where made to support refueling from tank car.

The fuel tanks were introduced to extend the range of priority manifests traveling cross-country. Less time stopped for refueling/loco swapping means faster delivery times. The tank cars had connections on both ends so they could be placed between any combination of loco’s, but the fuel only flowed out, not back, and used separate lines on each loco - if the loco was so fitted. Many were not, and where combinations occurred with equipped and not-equipped loco’s, the lead loco’s were always the equipped units and the remaining loco’s were arranged behind. For example: sd40-2(e)-tanker-sd40-2(e)-sd40-2(e)-sd40-2-sd40-2-train-cab.

No, the game does not support refueling these tanks......unless you know of a “loader/unloader” and load able tank car that I don’t know about......

A great place to have seen these is use were on Crawford Hill on the BN Butte Subdivision.....

If you search around you can find many different colors on that center collar.

Just for fun for those of you that have the BLE route. They may have used it elsewhere.
