Who can make some remodels of Barnez\BNSFChicago DTG\Gilroy Gallery cars in Metra style. Like the Pullman Gallery Coach/Cab Cars, Budd Coach/Cab Cars, as well the Amrail Gallery Coach and Cab cars. Also we need a remodel of a F40PH into a F40PHM-2 and also, we need models of F40C locomotives. Hope that we agree, - Ethan :D :D

Am I missing something or are those just gallery cars, which come with the route? !*don-know!* Then again I'm not a Metra buff so excuse my ignorance.

Metra has three types of gallery car, only one of which is in TS. This version would be the Nippon Sharyo gallery car, which Metra took delivery of in the mid-90s. The other two were built for the pre-Metra/RTA operators in the Chicago area by Pullman-Standard and Budd in the 1960s. The Budd cars look somewhat similar to the Nippon Sharyo ones on the outside, but they have shorter windows and a different body profile among other differences. The Pullman-Standard ones are smooth sided and share a similar window profile to the Budd cars. The car in the rear here is a Nippon Sharyo while the one in the front is a Budd if you want to compare:

And here's all three types in a train

Railfan272 What I'm saying is we could remodel DTG's Gilroy Nippon Sharyo Cabcar & Coach Car into Budd 8200 Cabcar & Coach car because they both have 26L control stands. Then we can Remodel Barnez BNSFChicago F40PH into F40PHM-2, and last but not lease we should Remodel RSC's F45 & adding a few inches to make a F40C locomotive.

Just an FYI... the changes you are looking to make would require the base 3D model files on which the geopcdx file is compiled from. Adding length to a railcar or locomotive would involve not only changing the base carbody object. but also the position of all the parented objects that are dependent on the carbody length, such as axles / wheels. And DTG will not share their 3DMax proprietary source files with the community.

Your best bet would be to repaint existing models, and supplement with child objects. Or, pitch your idea to DTG. Personally, I like the idea, and I can see a locomotive / car pack addon for the racetrack route.
