Milwaukee Road Electrics MSTS Conversions

Unread postby gtw5812 » Sat Nov 02, 2019 7:34 pm

Hello everyone,

Although I posted in the "MSTS Steam Conversion" thread, I thought maybe, that I would start a new one here. I wish that I was "computer smart", ….but here it goes.....

Has anyone thought of converting the Milwaukee Road Electrics to RW? There would be little animation problems, since it would only deal with articulation and pantographs....and there is some great equipment out there, which was originally forth by Lukas Lusser. I have attached a few screens of the equipment available, and there are sound files as well. If done, they would look great on the "Cascadian Route".....and a "Pipe Dream" would be a future Milwaukee Road Electric Division route!! The "EF" models would be great to be repainted for Great Northern Z-1's! Just thoughts..... Please feel free to give input!

Best Regards,

Galen

Perhaps even a BP-1 Bi-Polar if any exist! !!*ok*!!

I love old boxcab electrics, does anyone know how hard it is to convert MSTS engines?

I got to thinking about these again.... I don't know how hard it would be for the conversion, very little animation, other than the wheels..... Any thoughts?

I too would love to see the Milwaukee Road electrified divisions done between Harlowton, MT and Avery, ID. As for converting an MSTS box cab over to Train Simulator, it maybe an easier path for the Cascadian group to mod their box cab to MILW specs. Only time will tell though. I believe Great Northerner is a MILW fan... so maybe there is a very slight glimmer of hope?
