Okay, so I am still working on making the repaint from the blank texture (Thanks Buzz!) but when I go to put the texture in the sim it comes out all weird. I haven't changed the orientation of the texture and I've used RWTools to re-enter the texture back int the folder. Am I missing a step?

I'm resurrecting this thread again.

So I started working on testing some repaints and for some reason the textures are being referenced to the original file. I've disabled the Hood_nm and Hood_nmc files and it is referencing the original ATSF textures somewhere. I have a separate file that I copied from the original that I'm working in. also when I did get it to go into the game it looks like the texture was applied backwards on the locomotive. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

These are the lines that tell you what shapes the thing is looking at.

</iBlueprintLibrary-cAbsoluteBlueprintID>
</SecondaryNamedTextureSet>
<GeometryID d:type="cDeltaString">DTM\SD45-2 ATSF\RailVehicles\Engine\Engine\[00]SD45_2ATSF</GeometryID>
<CollisionGeometryID d:type="cDeltaString">DTM\SD45-2 ATSF\RailVehicles\Engine\Engine\[00]SD45_2ATSF</CollisionGeometryID>

Ken, Are you sure that your textures are the same as the model? It looks to me like they are not the same. All the SD45's do not share the same model. The texture and model need to match.

That is the texture I pulled from the ATSF folder through RW_Tools.

Are you working with the nm one or the nmc one?

I'm working with both of them, I think the picture above is just the Hood_nm that imported, I left the nmc one alone.

Assuming you are using fairly high settings the nmc one should no be a factor. Why don't you shoot me your bin file and let me see if I see anything.
