Thought we might need a 'used' version.

Boy, I remember watching these SCL units running the A-Line when I was a wee thing. Looks good.

I've looked over how to repaint a bit and I wanted to start with an easy locomotive. The E8 seemed like a good choice. My only problem is the locomotive I want to start with has a single headlight and 4 portholes, but neither of the E8s work. Is there a way around this for a beginner? I'd also like to put ditch lights on as childs if possible. Prototype photo (not my photo) is attached.

My friend made me a repaint of some NYC survivors up here with the same sort of issue. All he did was paint in his own windows in roughly the same spot they were on the 2 headlight model, using existing porthole textures from that model with the dual headlights as a guide. I think it turned out fine.

As far as the ditch lights go. I don't have a clue. !!**sorry**!!

Are there any plans to publicly release those NYC units?

On another thread Generic Zack was showcasing a E8 with ditch lights but I don't think he's posted it yet. Kevin put decals on on the NS F units so they could be used as they are freebies. As usual if anyone wants to use either of these please ask the author for permission and if granted give them recognition for the use.

I took this image from an older RWA topic.
It's just a repaint suggestion I think not been made yet.
With it I am thinking in the California Zephyr and The Racetrack route.

Thank you for the accurate links.
I was incorrectly convinced that only F7 units were available.
The Racetrack route already had new features after all.
