Conrail SD60s

Unread postby imphantum » Tue Jan 17, 2017 3:23 pm

With Conrail being the second biggest buyers of the SD60I and SD60M with a total of 155 units on the roster, I would love to see Ians SD60M repainted into Conrail Colors. There's a repaint already in the library which is a placeholder using the SD70M model, but since we have the actual model now even with the marker lights, it would be really cool to see these in the sim.

I had thought at one time Ian had said that he was maybe going to release some Conrail repaints for his SD60s, but I could be mistaken. Haven't seen much from him on here lately so I'm sure he's working on something!

That looks excellent Nitsujy! I'm jealous *!lol!*

How did you manage to track down all of the various little cabinet and grab iron bits in the texture files? When I experimented with his SD60M, I found where they were all clustered but unintentionally kept painting the entire underframe green.

Well to be honest, I went into the texture file and recolored all the yellow from CSX rails to white. Then just started coloring random white parts until the ones I wanted were white and the rest were blue. I got lucky and it didn't take long, but usually I do this and give up because it takes too long
