Why has the BN F45 seemingly been forgotten about?

Unread postby ryan9550 » Thu Oct 06, 2016 8:37 am

As the subject says, I have just re-discovered the F45 on steam. http://store.steampowered.com/app/222624/
F45.jpg

After seeing the post about more Santa Fe repaints (specifically the FP45), I realized I thought that there was a BN F45 for the game already. So I typed F45 into the steam search, found it and then noticed it wasn't with the main list of add-ons (along with a few more things).

So I was wondering since it's currently on sale, if anybody was willing to repaint it into any of these http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/locoList.aspx?mid=153
As there's only one in the file library.

I'm not rushing or in any hurry. I don't own it yet, as I'm waiting for the weekend. I was just wondering why it seems to have been forgotten about.

It had a sound problem when it first came out which turned a lot of people off. That may be the reason. Of course there was the usual screaming and yelling about it. It has been long fixed.

He is right though, a lot of DLC isn't on the main list for some reason. I just realized that myself last night.
Some DLC is hidden and wouldn't be bought unless the shopper knows about it, to search for it.
It seem to me the Pacific Surfliner is one of the routes that is no longer on the main list either.
New build. i7-7700k, MSI Z270 Gaming M5 Mobo, Hyper 212 Evo, Corsair DDR4 3200 Mhz RAM, Klipsch Pro Mediea 2.1 Speakers, Samsung 850 Evo SSD, HAF XM Case, Asus Strix GTX 1070 and Cooler Master Storm XT Keyboard.
Slick with Pretty Rainbow Colors.

It's the same with Marias Pass, Stevens Pass, NS Heritage SD70ACes and the San Diego Commuter Rail F59PHI

Where did the Santa Fe SD40-2 and BN SD40-2 add-ons go? They were old Railworks add-ons I believe.

Horicon did a lot of contract painting for other railroads. They painted the MTM's BN 6234.

Back to the subject at hand.......if you take a good look at the pictures of most of these that have not been painted you will see why.
