anybody making or planning to make a GE U50

Also cab shots seem to be non-existent.

I'm out.
I did have an N-Scale model of a U50 ar one time. Like the real ones, it ran like garbage and was soon relegated to the yard-sale box.
EDIT: A little biographical info. According the book "U-Boats", the 40 U50's were delivered to UP in 1969-1970. By 1971, five had been sidelined by electrical fires. Soon after, stress fractures began showing up in the trade-in turbine trucks due to the weight of the unit. There were several more failures, and in 71' GE tapped Morris Knudsen to rewire the units, but balked because of the prohibitive cost. By 1976 all 40 U50's were scrapped, no survivors.
Curiously, the book has a photo of a Southern Pacific U50 on the cover, but there is no roster information for it.
