That decal is by that nut job that was over here threatening everyone with all sorts of things a couple of months ago if we didn't immediately do this or that. I don't even remember what his problem was however I see nothing in the read me for the CP repaint that says one word about not being able to use any or all of this as a template for other freeware.

Idk, go ask Luk, it's-. Well technically it's Sibell's and Luk's repaint on their website, so it's not Luk's, but I asked him and he said I'm not allowed to alter and/or upload their work. But usually right after 'upload their work' is without permission, but I asked him.

Wonder how he plans on enforcing that? There is not difference between DTG Genset and his except for the decal and as I pointed out before there is nothing in the read me about asking for permission or claiming any prohibition about using it. I don't plan on getting into any kind of food fight over something as unimportant as this so there is nothing to discuss with him.

Just putting my in. The way I see it for things like repaints if it's not a pay ware item and it bares zero resemblance to the original who really knows that they are the same thing. If I was to release a repaint in this set of circumstances I really wouldn't give two s**** especially since buzz pointed out there is nothing in the readme file saying you can't do that.... Hell I wouldn't even contact them about it. Now if it did say something in the files saying you cannot then I "might" ask permission. Now people saying you can't repaint something for your own use as Luke replied back to you... Well honestly nobody can stop you from doing that, I've always thought of that as a joke really.

Well since I'm pretty close to finishing it, might as well finish it. Besides it's still nice to have locos that are retired. Just like the MARC AEM-7's, they are retired, but I still made them anyway. But this makes #111 obsolete?

#301 was supposed to become #111. So you could do a "what if" for #111. But you could technically have a 110/300(same unit) and 301.

Haven't read this, but I have to say one thing...and I agree with Buzz...there isn't a field in my readme which denied to reskin this engine.
If you will do it...do it. The only one you have to ask about permissions is Justin beause that decal I used for the genset, and all genset repaints I did (exept the RSSX one) are made by Justin Hyland.
