Amtrak Repaints

Unread postby SuperChief » Sun Mar 15, 2015 6:02 pm

I have been looking online and in the real world and I have noticed that Amtrak has some Dash 8s painted up pretty nice. I've only ever found Amtrak repaints for the default Es44C.
I have seen the Dash 8 in real life as well as a couple of the Sw1200s, and I think even a 1500 in there, as well as an SD40-2. I'd love to see some in the current blue wave livery as well as the Pepsi can livery.
I can not repaint, I've tried on other games and I fail horribly.
Could someone do a few repaints for the Britkits SL coaches as well, I have the pack but can not find any repaints for them.

Thanks so much.

It would be helpful if you would post some pictures of what you would like to see. Someone is way more likely to get interested and do them.

And for the BritKits SL passenger cars perhaps some to look like the old Union Pacific cars or others from the 40s and 50s when the Streamline cars came out such as the Hiawatha or the Zephyrs.

I was putting the Phase 4 you showed in one of your pics on the dash 9, along with a Phase 5 paint. Unfortunately, I forgot about them and I am planning on continuing the paints. I will also add a fictional Phase 3 in the pack, possibly. !!*ok*!!

Thank you that is a much nicer way to post screenies here. You can even display them in the full size of what you took the shots at.

Be aware that some sites frown on having their images cross-linked from other sites (they are paying for the bandwidth).
In a worst-case scenario, a few years ago I posted links to images on a forum, and the source site had a script that replaced the images with porn images with rude messages.
That was a few years ago, bandwidth cost is not as much a problem as it used to be, still I recommend you always check the images first with the "preview" button.
