Anyone Want to Develope a Southern Pacific Fire Engine?

Unread postby Ericmopar » Sat Aug 16, 2014 11:02 pm

I took photos of a Southern Pacific Fire Engine at Portola CA recently.
I'm not sure of the vintage, although it would fit in with a 40s or later route. (I think...)
I've got all round pics.

I believe it's a late 40s/early 50s model (49~52?). I don't know when or where SP used it, however.
Cheers!

Southern Pacific fielded their own F.D. until the U.P. takeover. Most of the firefighting equipment I'd seen before, was all in mountain areas.
