RWA Community assets? AKA RCAP

Unread postby Railroy19 » Sat Dec 14, 2013 8:00 pm

Could someone tell me what filter to look under for the Buildings in the RWA asset pack?
Not sure if RWA has it's own section.

Thanks,
Bob

There never were any Railworks America Community Assets made, that is no one ever made any. I also model objects for RWA, but I myself didn't make any, and there will never be any.

But if you're interested you'll find all of my Downtown buildings in the file library, as well as my pack of semi's and a pack of 1960's cars. Also in an update coming up soon for the 1960's cars pack I'll be adding a ton of new auto's to the pack.

And also soon coming up, my Inner City Classic Buildings pack I've been working on of downtown buildings and some skyscrapers.

But no though, I know for a fact that there weren't ever any RWA Community Assets and I don't think there ever will be any. There is the RCAP pack found in the file library, perhaps that's the pack you're thinking of.

...Cheers...

Ok Thanks Jpetersjr.
I did find something in the file library and downloaded it but can't locate where the buildings are placed. It shows some gas stations and lowes lumber and ice cream shops and other assorted buildings. I thought that was what I downloaded. I found it in the models section.
Well thanks anyway.

It doesn't put them into the game if that's what you are talking about. They need to be added by you in spots where you want to put them.

I put several of these and a few 7-11's in the Surfliner route which is unusually void of any commercial buildings or billboards that make any sense.
The Mickey D's sign is from The Portland Terminal. Why this wasn't included in the RCAP assets is anybody's guess.

And I would imagine it may need McDonalds permission?

Not enough time to get it out for v1 release, and I had forgotten about it afterward.

Trivia: Who's the person serving the drive-thru window? :D

By the way, I forgot to compliment and thank you guys on the fine assets that you all offer. It really spices up certain drab areas of certain routes.
Next time I'm in looking at the McDonalds building, I'll focus in to the drive-up window.
