Andreas, I'm waiting to buy until a BN version comes out, unless there are no plans on making a BN/NP one. Another locomotive to consider is the rare RS27. I happen to have the very last two of them in my neck of the woods. PRR, SOO, and GBW are a few roads that come to mind with them.

Hi Woody,

there will be no other version of this engine, but we will release a couple of free repaints from different rail companies as well , and there will be the free repaints that are contributed by the community. That´s why we include a paintshed in the product. We think this is the best way because it is sometimes a very hard search to find out who is the license or the brand owner and it may be complicated and somtimes dangerous to release a model representing a certain company.

I notice that the engine script is compiled and the lua source is not provided.
Was that done on purpose?

The functionalities of this engine are excellent and the community could benefit from the scripting skills of the builder. We have started a section of the forums for developer guides, tutorials, etc, and scripting is a subject that needs to be more documented.

The latest blueprint editor automatically compiles LUAs into OUTs. There is no control over this.

However...

If you swap the OUT with a LUA it still works, so there is a post build work around.

I know but the lua can still be added to the exported files.
That is the case for the centipede.
