Well in retrospective its not the Amtrak P42 w/ Empire builder set everyone was hoping for, but these can easily be repainted into Amtrak's PH 3 and PH-IV schemes and even VIA Rail schemes alot of people been wanting. Most of those cars from the old Empire Builder are used on Amtrak's Lines and VIA Rail lines. I look forward to this. And oh might I say we are getting Passenger Views for most Cars i hope hehehehe! !*drool*!

Well actually VIA never used the "actual" empire builder cars, all their non bud cars that they had in the past were from CN which either had them custom made for their railroad or when CN bought some of the Hiawatha passenger sets. But they were phased out by the early 90's on VIA. Amtrak on the other hand used these a lot since they got them directly from BN once Amtrak was started. Currently most of via's fleet consist of custom built stainless steel bud cars from Canadian Pacific.

Wow thanks for the history lesson. Well in this game there aren't that many distinctions since most people only worry about the paint job and not the actual car's true history.

I'm wondering if this is RSC's baby or is a third party doing this for them? Thats not to say that they can't do it but the Cars are very accurate for once. Plus we know RSC isn't known for making complete high quality PVs like these. They usually leave that out. Nonetheless I'm so excited to be getting these.

Are these passenger cars new models from the rails up? Haven't seen the Superdome in TS2013 before, so that must be new for sure. And is looking good, I like that matte paint effect.
Previouly, only Rick Grout and Reppo have done US passenger cars, right?

We could do with some new well detailed streamlined passenger cars. Preferably some that could be repainted into other famous name trains such as Broadway Limited for the HSC.

They almost feel like the Gtrax cars.

Exacly my feeling as well. And it makes sense since he is involved in that new GN line over Stevens Pass.

Nice to have a good train to run over both Marias Pass and the WIP Stevens Pass.

That GN Geep is already in the catalogue or is it also new?
