A week or so ago RSC posted on their Facebook page that they were taking a look at the Norfork Southern GP40-2. Might this be a portent of things to come?

There are already several NS routes out there. If they do one I hope it's something new.

If it's a NS route, I hope that it will be the Harrisburg Line from Harrisburg, PA to King of Prussia, PA. Maybe the Saluda Grade. Maybe even an all Conrail route. There are so many NS routes that need to be made!

Or, it could come with some new NS freight cars and activities for Horseshoe Curve.

Looking forward to this! UP only uses GP40-2s for the locals around my neck of the woods. Comes into my town every Tuesday to pick up a few cars from the diatomaceous earth mine. It's why they call it the white hills spur.

Lets not get too excited, there is really only a little evidence pointing towards an NS route, so don't be disappointed when they announce a different route. Anyways that is a whole new topic. By the way, didn't SMM have an NS Geep in the works? I'm pretty sure PapaExpress is working on it now.

I do not particularly like eastern roads, but Saluda sounds like home to me.

But the Saluda Grade with RW physics would act more as an airport than a train route since all the cars would be flying in the air anyway

Why would that be?

Because when pulling a heavy train up-grade, the cars seem to leave the track and fly in the air. That's with the old physics at least, the newer routes have been better regarding physics.
