SD45 and Donner Pass?

Are these DLCs worth getting? I'm thinking about what to get myself for Christmas. !*roll-laugh*!

Donner - GET. The SD45 - GET (if you like UP). Otherwise there's more roadnames planned. !!*ok*!!

Donner is really good now, but you have to like long runs. I prefer short routes with a lot of road switching, so I tend to fall asleep on Donner, Cajon, etc.

I'm not a fan of the RSC USA routes because they lack detail where needed ie. direct trackside and in yards etc... and have too much detail where not needed ie. weird, plastic looking, FPS robbing 3D foliage (in my opinion). Having said that, I own them all *!embar*! . Donner Pass gets my vote hands down for value for money.

Have you tried Bay of Quinte?

End to end is over 5 hours. While writing the F40 scenarios I got extremely burned out watching the scenery go by for over 25 hours of testing the scenarios. That was the old version. This new version is like a completely different route. Very nice job they did in revamping it.

The SD45 is pretty awesome. Just needs it's sound fixed and I'm good. I'm away from my train sim computer, but I couldn't get the roof light to work. Normally you press "L". I also could not adjust the mirrors, even though the youtube promo video of it showed it working. Anybody know what's up? !*don-know!*

The SD45 is 20-645 sounds. I recorded them from GN 400.

The beacon is 'N'.
