New version v77.6b
The first thing I noticed is that it defaulted to some sleepy organ music as background during loading. I had some audio of some yard switching action I was using. Anyone remember how to change the background audio?
Solved:
Go to a back up copy of TSC. Locate Assets/KUJU/RailSimulatorCore/Audio. Search for UI_FrontEndLoop.DAV and copy this file.
Then go to the current Assets/KUJU/RailSimulatorCore/Audio. Search for UI_FrontEndLoop.DAV and rename to UI_FrontEndLoop.DAV_X if you want to back it up or you can delete. Then drop your copied file here.
You will then have the menu music from your backup version of TSC. Be sure to have menu music enabled.

Thank you. That organ music is depressing.

The classic menu music is also back. But I have one question: I see a new Acela Express on the cover? Did they remake it?

Besides the music and splash screen, are there any differences when comparing to the latest Beta ?

One issue I had, and I don't know if it is related is Searchlight Simulations SD70ACU NS when loaded the bell sounded and I could not turn it off, also the headlights would not go on. I reinstalled and all is working to design intent. I have noticed some issues with modified content.

Run a couple of GD scenarios. Things seem to be good here. Anyone having any issues?

Good Day: It seems the new update is not a big fan of Michael Stephans work. My computer locks up when trying to start : The Springfield Route, Stevens Pass & The RWA Route. I tried everything I can think of. Tried to get into them VIA Quick Drive, Standard, Career, & Free Roam.. !*not-ok*! *!twisted!* !**conf**! Stefan

I had no problem with Stevens Pass and after re-loading the Springfield Route from my backup (it said there was no scenarios before I did this) it loaded OK. Still puzzling over the RWA route.

I you people have mods in routes or assets that do not have full file system .AP compressed files, be prepared for issues and headaches, as it is sure your mods will be modified.
For example, Marias pass assets doesn´t have any .AP. in the assets. This means any mods like Searchlight Simulations (MLWAudio) or other type of mods, will cause you issues.
Be advised that there are routes with .AP files that gather scenarios. So these AP don´t count. (In my case Marias Pass).

The way to work out these items is restoring any recent backup you could have saved (one by one, routes or assets).
Those assets and routes with full .AP files should not give you any trouble at all.

I did restore my backup, and it changed nothing. !**conf**! Funny thing I did modify the RWA, but never touched the Springfield or the Stevens Pass. !*don-know!* Is there a way, I can put fresh downloads of those 3 routes, without blowing the whole game away? Thanks for any insight. Stefan

It seems to be stable. No CTD or OOM. Possible a little better frame rates. I have them locked at 45.

Have you tried loading the RWA route?

There is a way. You can do a file verify, only for these three DLCs. If you have not modified anything along the time, nothing happens. Otherwise get a backup of both the routes and associated assets.

To reload your DLC do the following:
Open Steam.
Click on the menu "LIBRARY".
Right click Train Simulator Classic 2024.
Choose Properties from the menu.
In the following menu choose DLC.
Do the following, one DLC at a time. Search for the DLC you want to replace. Untick the DLC you want to replace and immediately tick it again (a couple seconds).
"Manage Downloads" will have a new TS2024 task for download.
Do that for all three DLC you want to replace.

Ready to go. !!howdy!!
