Is this acting as a separate route entirely? Or will it act as an extension? (similar to the ones dovetail did for soldier summit and such).
(ps, could a mod remove that other topic I started, i didnt realize he already started this one)

This adding Portola to Feather River Canyon and will include the Williams Loop and Cleo trestle..
It looks as if there is a crane and boom car as well as some weathered MOW equipment???

This will be an entirely different/separate route. In addition to the line being extended east to Portola, the full distance of the line has received a "make-over" as necessary and along with scenery/structure enhancements this includes some changes to track (speeds, signaling, etc.). New career scenarios (10) are provided and cover the length of the line. And there's a new line-up of locomotives (six types) and rolling stock (16 types). Owners of the original FRC route will have the opportunity to purchase the new edition at a special discount.

Interesting to see that the F units have three digit numbering and no letter suffix.

I think that the suffix was from when they were first delivered they were connected by draw bars in an A B B A configuration. The group were numbered example 604A, B, C, D. After a while they were broken up and couplers added but kept their original numbers for a while.

Are the bulkhead flatcars and the crane/boom tender conversions from the MSTS version of feather river 3dtrains and a few did years ago? I know rick grout did those models, they still hold up today pretty well.
This version definitely has the advantage in rolling stock variety over the original one dovetail made.

I welcome the change.
The original FR F7s had the dash and the letter suffix making renumbering for repaints "awkward" the new ones will make the repaints look better (providing they are 3 digit numbers themselves!).
On price - It seems to me that DTG have increased their base price by 20% generally so the new route will be slightly more than the original after the discount BUT you get more for your money.

Looks pretty good. Adds some more stuff to do on the route. Just wish High Iron would make a few 2 Headlight F7's. I am pretty sure there were more Double Headlight versions than Single Headlight ones. Just my

Do you have the EMDFP7Pack01? There's a ton of re-paints that have been done for this pack and I or one of the other guys would be ready to fill any requests you might have for this one.

This is incorrect. The only F7s with dual headlights owned by the WP were the FP7s, of which there were 4. All 24 of F7A/D units owned by WP had the single headlight as modeled. As Buzz said, the FP7 is available as a separate DLC.

I believe the original poster was referencing F7s in general, not just those of WP.
