https://www.facebook.com/10006371437365 ... 081644564/Noticed this on their Facebook page, kinda happy we’re finally getting a new GP9 model.
Also since it has to do with dieselworkshop, they seem to also be working on an EL C425.

That's a great looking 3D model of a Geep! Always wonderful to see new 1st gen diesel models taking shape.
Cheers,
Michael

I'm not exactly sure what this means but I got curious about the status of this beauty and got this back after I asked.
"About the GP project, this long-awaited locomotive is
being developed for a special release on Steam!
We are working hard to make this release a must-have for all
TS enthusiasts.
Regards
Fernando"

There hasn’t been much word coming from Diesel Workshop in recent months. I’m glad to hear this project is still in the works.

On the Diesel Workshop website it says the GP9 is, "On hold". Anyone know why or have any other info?

It's been "on hold" for at least 12 months but no reason given. Eagerly awaited model as it could easily be adapted for many roads.
