This is all new updated models. Way more detailed and textured than the 2013 version. Like I said elsewhere. Try it and if you don't think it's worthwhile return it.

This DLC in particular is becoming a meme and there isn't much stopping it everywhere you look.

I watched a video review. Some have said the 2013 one is better. Some relink to a freeware pack based on the 2013 one and other tidbits from other creators to make their version.
that means 10 years and anyone throwing a fit or bitching had all that time and didnt do anything. As far as i Know DTM is not of the US..and he is one of the few US developers. So if you can take the time to whine moan and complain on every release the man seems to do, i think putting the effort towards doing the work yourself, and showing for it you can do better...

but hey that is just me **!!2cents!!**

Hi all,

I've played with the P40DC quite a bit and to me it is a thing of beauty. No idea what the Discord Trolls are on about. !**conf**! The P40 and the Superliner fleet are wonderfully detailed and great fun to operate.

A few pictures below.

Cheers,
Michael

And yet the proportions on virtually every detail are incorrect.

Let me with all due respect ask you a question. What do you think you are accomplishing with this post?

Apparently, for a small but omnipresent group of individuals, their only real "contribution" to our hobby is trolling, trashing, and trying to "out do" each other on every social media platform they can find. And there are also a few others with specific axes to grind. In each case, the facts never get in the way.

Were such individuals honestly interested in being constructive, they would directly contact the developer, but instead they publicly post the same often incorrect but always snarky comments countless times at different sites.

Never having heard one in real life all I have to go by is a couple of U-Tube vids I watched, I'd say pretty good. Horn is pretty much spot on and all these hepa loco's to me sound like they are running flat out most of the time. I heard plenty of F40ph's when I lived near Chicago and this sounds about the same to me. Of course the people suffering from DTMDS will probably tell you it's all wrong but that's what I think. Like I have been telling others with the deal on Steam just try it and if you don't like just give it back.

I've heard from MULTIPLE sources that they have tried to get into contact with Cesar, only to either get shot down by Cesar himself or to have him not even have acknowledged them.

Eric, If you are going to make such statements on here either spell out these multiple sources or retract this. I have had dozens of communications with Cesar through the years and he always answers promptly and politely.

I wonder how many of those sources actually tried to contact DTM or if they just heard it from someone who heard it from someone else. In this age of social media, things spread like wildfire whether they are true or not.

And if these experiences are true, then what exactly was said to be ignored? The way some people criticize, I would ignore them as well. Many people forget how to provide constructive criticism. Saying “same old horn” or “it’s too loud” or “it doesn’t look good” are all subjective viewpoints. How can DTM or anyone else improve that, especially when others say that everything sounds and looks good?

My own experience with Mannu is that he welcomes and appreciates input and is extremely responsive (and is one of the nicest people on the planet). As Mikeov1985 rightly suggests above, I would assume DTM, like virtually all developers, has to tune out those who come with all guns blazing.
