Looks like an interesting route and the fact that Milepost Simulations is behind it gives me great confidence!

I'm really excited for this!!!!!!!!! I grew up in Redding, lived in Yreka, worked on the Yreka Western, and and a little time on the McCloud Railway (which interchanges with this route at Mt. Shasta), and I did almost all my railfanning in the area, along with exploring the old grades of the numerous logging railroads that were in the area. I spent most of my life with Mt. Shasta looming somewhere on the horizon, until I moved away 8 years ago for work. This is really exciting!!!! !*YAAA*! !*YAAA*! !*YAAA*! !*YAAA*!

The first 4 engines from the left are all cab forwards in that photo you're talking about.

Would be nice to have a little more SP steam variety now. *!!wink!!*

"Stretching 108 route miles between the railroad towns of Dunsmuir, California and Klamath Falls, Oregon, set in 1983, " I doubt you will be seeing any more steam from this...............unless of course you want to make some. !!det!!

Only problem so far is my locos have no visible exhaust. The particles folder is in the .ap assets folder and it needs to be in the RailVehicles\Diesel folder. At least that fixed it here.

Good find. !!*ok*!!
If someone is ambitious It would be nice to see the roundhouse in Dunsmuir just for the steam experience. I have collected some old pictures and track maps of the area. Doing it is above my pay grade. If the turntable is still in place then adding roundhouse and tracking should not be too difficult. **!!2cents!!**

I purchased their Yellowhead Pass in the sale and the CN GP40-2LW is the same or is very minimal. If you view from the outside looking along the top of the loco rear to front view there are some very faint wisps of smoke.

I like the route so far. It's very scenic in certain spots. It doesn't remind me of any other route that has been made for the game so far. It gives me an excuse to run the Chris and Jerre's Paint Shed sp ac4400cw on it instead of Donner Pass.

I appreciate the fact that Milepost went the extra mile and took the time to model the L window on the tunnel motor. It makes the model stand out even more. The SD9E also has its perks, such as the light package included.

With that said...

The sounds are really lackluster across all of the stock. It's the same old 645 and 567 sounds from 12 years ago. Nothing some patching can't fix though. !!*ok*!!
