Wheels on included rolling stock look a little large to me. 50 and 70 ton capacity cars should have 33 inch diameter wheels, 100 ton and up cars usually have 36 inch wheels and I think only locos of that era had 42 inch wheels.

Report this to them directly please. They are very reactive to comments, critique, and suggestions. DTM that is.

Noted I have the pack and will throw the old measuring stick on the wheels.

For what it's with I did have him remove the metric capacity markings he had.

Wheels coming in at .9 and .95m. that's within tolerance. You know how it goes you, put a big tank on a bogie and it makes wheels look big. Reminds me of a story about the missus and a new pair of slacks. I told her there was only way to really know for sure....

Do let me point out that the engines look really solid. Howard spat out a list of details < > this big for DTM. And you know what? DTM did them just like that. (ok it took 4 times) I did check the tanks but I was focused more on the cabs as Howard is the SP expert. There are some nice details in there that SHOULD be in there and now they are. Between you and me, they started growing on me and I started driving them on the Bergen for a week straight. I thin the West Coast boys are gonna love em.

Interesting side note to this maybe: On the DTG forum it was mentioned that Tehachapi Pass is about to be released, and someone wondered if these two locos will go alongside the route.

I hope these are included in the new Tehachapi, but I don't recall DTG including 3rd parties locos in their routes (but who knows). I just expect new content and not the same reused locos from DP (dated) or Sherman Hill. Maybe we can have at least some scenarios for Tehachapi aside from the Donner's?

Well now that question is answered. The U33C is out and has nothing to do with the new release of the Loop.
