Nice to see people closing in on the great gap in content that is Alco, especially with the PAs coming soon as well. (I wonder if Centuries or some more RS-units are to come in the future?)

Hey it's always something to look forward to. This will be great when they finally appear.

Being AlCo-holic myself, I'll welcome any model.

Me too, here in Argentina we still have plenty of them (they are close to retire though). I have some pictures but I don't know if I should upload them here since this is a railworks forum.

The area they can be posted under is "The Jungle", this being the "jungle" of the realworld.

I usually try to stay as positive as possible but it was hard with this one. Think its my 2nd ever refund for a TS addon

The coaches are alright, as well as the physics... thats about where it ends in my humble opinion

As I adore Alcos, im bent about it.

Would you care to share what you didn't care for besides they are too shiny?

Well you seem to know since i remarked the shiny bit in the video i made or steam review - and not in this particular instance

Paint and textures look bad, extremely low level of detail in and out.
Brake handles are reversed unless Alco decided to swap em w the DL109.
Missing textures w brake hoses/coupler plate - general area etc
Sounds are poor, reused, mixed poorly
Giant holes in the roof for fans
Thickness of the frame, markedly the window and how it dissapears when rolling down
Red markers on coaches dont always illuminate

Im usually ok w most DTM products but this is on another level, sub level

Agreed, the dirt shouldn't look like it's under the clear coat
Textures look alright to me but see the shiny comment
Can't answer the brake handle problem but they are probably reversed. I will look around later.
I did not notice any missing textures?
DL-109s had the same prime mover as an RS-1, so those sounds were reasonably reused, but the horn loop has an atrocious mix.

It's an alright model, but with just about everything this game has going for it, there is nothing to write home about and has its share of issues. **!!2cents!!**

I basically got it free because I found an unused $20 steam key in my closet from God knows how long ago, and it still worked, so I have nothing to really complain about.

Looks a whole lot better when you take that crazy shine away.

Delighted to see these, Gary. Although I largelymissed the DL-109s, I knew these cars quite well. The Osgood Bradley lightweight shell and its variants is difficult to do accurately, and DTM has done a very credible job with this set.

If they're interested in getting a little more mileage out of this tooling, i caan provide you with the information necessary to make a very nice supplemental set from minor modifications of models already released.
