The included stock is, as always, a complete write-off but the route itself doesn't look too bad. Need some (good) 90s Amtrak equipment and then I'll be interested *!!wink!!*

Great news for me! Used to live in Flagstaff and know the area very well. !*brav*!

Why is this necessary? I think DTM has a set of cars that are pretty nice from that era. Digital Train Models (DTM) SDP40F-ATK Pack

We're busy getting some plans finalized, but towards the summer we will most likely be re-visiting our P42 pack for a possible expansion pack. *!!wink!!*

unbranded locos?

so only the name Santa Fe is trademarked by BNSF, not the warbonnet paint scheme, which can also be considered as a brand hallmark?

Unbranded only outside the US (we are used to this nonsense) and as for the stock not being up to much, gives we those outside the US an F45 whoopee!!!

Re: stock included with Seligman, for starters the locos are massively out of scale; the B40-8W is too short and the SD40-2 is way too tall, it's pretty clear in a few of the shots.

Colors on the locos are also very strange, not sure what's up with that. Rolling stock included in the route is the same Kuju/RSC stuff we've seen a million times. As for the DTM Amtrak stock, the textures aren't really up to a modern standard and the colors are way off; the blue is almost teal, for example. It's fixable with a considerable amount of work I think, but there's other projects I'd rather spend my time on.

The stock can be easily switched, the route can’t. Surely it’s the route that matters. The stock is only there for newbies in most DTG routes. Would you really reject the route because of the stock, if so most third party routes would be rejected.

We all know all that so my question still remains. What's your point of posting this?

That's not the point he was making, but okay.

I'm sure he was simply pointing this out, not detracting from the route. The stock doesn't look that great, but I'm already planning some equipment packs for this. The route itself looks surprisingly good. I'm just confused as of why a post needs a point behind it. So far your last two haven't had one. Probably be best if we move back on topic...

Probably it's best if you don't try to pick a fight with me. The point I was trying to make was all he was doing was trashing the rolling stock which to those that don't know any different they probably won't know any difference and for the rest of us we are well aware of the issues with the stock rolling we really don't care since we are just interested in the route. Dissing stuff for recreational purposes is generally frowned upon here. I think back on topic would be to talk about the route instead of the stock that comes with it which in this case we all know is not Mileposts creations.

Not trying to pick a fight, just wondering why you always have to judge other people's critiques. You seem to like being aggressive and judgmental toward others and their opinions. It does get really annoying. He simply made a statement and you blew up over it. None of this would have started if you didn't say anything. Again, not picking a fight, but if you want to keep others in check, maybe hold yourself to the same standard. Be a role model. Creating a hostile environment only brews more hostility, hence why every DLC in this category ends up with comments deleted. People can have opinions after all.
