I will say the gons look good, really good but in my critical opinion I dont think the SD60E unit is the artists best work. Is this a DTM model?

TheLocoShop is making it.

Yes, the modelling and texturing in the cab seems to be quite poor. Especially compared to recent offerings from other developers.

I would have to agree with Ian, it just doesnt look up to par with recent offerings. The 'SD60E' texture in the cab photos is just atrocious. likely going to be a sale pickup for me, if I do pick it up. We've already got excellent SD60 and the like offerings such as from Ian, and the Sd50s by DTM (which is essentially the same exterior), this should be up to par or exceeding those and I just don't see it as that. If Ian modeled the new cab and stuck it on his Sd60, it would far exceed the appearance of this upcoming SD60e. The winter textures just don't look good unfortunately.

I believe if you rivet counters would read the article you would see that it is a WIP so you might just hold your learned critiques until this is finished.

I understand that, but this is also their first advertisement of a product they're going to be selling and right now this is what we have to critique. Plus giving our critiques now, can help them since it's still a 'WIP' like they claim. If they release it with a complete redo of the textures and more detailing in the model, I'll happily say I was too quick to judge.

I understand that it is a WIP however, TLS is making rather bold statements claiming that as it is 100% accurate. It really doesn't feel like too much effort was put into it.

Considering that it's "Coming Soon", I doubt there will be any drastic changes before release.

Nothing is meant to be insulting, but if a product comes out claimed to be 100% accurate it better 100% accurate or real close. This one isnt and even the untrained eye can spot the inaccuracies, before we get anywhere close to rivet level stuff.

I personally am not a fan of the sd60e's cab style in general. It was completely necessary as the 60's are among the most numerous EMD road diesels that NS has.
But man... 6920 does look nice though. I will give them that.

The good news is no one is forced to buy it.
