Great news. Both Gary's article and the Steam store page are short on details on what "enhanced and remastered" means exactly. Scenery, tracks, rolling stock? Is there a changelog?

Hardly notice much difference, and the Acela PV is still non-existent on my end. I got the update, and even uninstalled both Acela and the NEC route, still didn't address the issue.

At least it's a free update to existing owners. Will have to run it soon.

I've managed to get the PV for the Acela working, which is very nice. Had to delete the file, and download a fresh copy. Wasn't working with the Sound and Physics mod. I'm somewhat surprised they didn't bother with a PV for the Amfleets. And a bit disappointed with the route, as I don't really notice any differences other than the fact that you can now see your trains externally in Penn Station.

Yeah, the Amfleet passenger view in the NY-NH and HHP-8 packs should've been included as well. Hopefully the physics mod will be updated. Has the track stability been addressed? (If tested without FanRailer's mod)

Big improvement, the cars at 30th Street are actually running on the highway.
Looks like Philly now.

It's much better. I did a quick drive and the roads and scenery have had a lot of replacement and touching up. I didn't get to far. I had a head on with an AI train in Quick Drive. I'll have to rerun that and see if I missed a light or something. I like the improved color position signals.

Related to the re-release of the NEC route, two more articles are now available at Train-Simulator.com (on the Acela and GG1):
READ FIRST: After a LONG hiatus from TS work, here is a batch of mod updates for the newly re-released NEC - New York to Philadelphia / AEM-7 [http://store.steampowered.com/app/65232] and Acela Express [http://store.steampowered.com/app/65231]. Most of the update highlights are mentioned in the commentary. Remember to always read the readme file for more information and installation instructions. Thanks and enjoy =)
