Been waiting for that locomotive to come out since I saw screenshots of it back when Reppo first introduced the GP20 units. Shame it has taken so long for this model to be released. Looks great though, should be a great addition to the route.

This may just sway me to buy both it and the route, breaking my "don't buy anymore TS stuff" rule. !!bang!!

WP 2001 has distinctive flared radiator shrouds. Are these modeled?

Very cool since the version we have now is the low nose version. !*brav*!

Seems that #2001 is about the second image in the article, when zooming in one the screenshot it doesn't seem to be modeled. They will probably have one model that will be auto-numbered with the 10 different options. If this feature was on only one of them, I wouldn't blame DTG or Reppo for glossing over it. Might be able to do it with child objects if someone was so inclined. !!*ok*!!

Yes if one was to go picking at nits one should comment that initially they were delivered with a "One Big Eye" headlight not the more modern twin beams commonly seen.

They all appear to have the flares unless I'm looking at the wrong feature.

Picture also shows a bell up on the cab roof.

Yep.
It's called a "Beer Keg" headlight. The museum ones have been retrofitted with common parts, but the originals had these.

They were changed out when they were still in service not just the museum ones.

I was just looking at the old screens of this one the other day. DTG sure has a lot of patience keeping this one in the vault all these years!

This is great news! Glad that Reppo isn't dead as their last release was a good 1 1/2 years ago. I hope to see some marketplace variants of this high hood WP GP20 soon!

I'm hoping this model will have improved sounds, such as the bronze bells heard in the 40 series sound pack.
