Definitely one of the most needed NJ Transit equipment for TS2016; I will definitely run the heavy 10-car consists on both the NJCL and NEC routes. I am also hoping new sounds will be implemented, such as the proper e-bell and different door sounds.

Excellent, excellent news!! I haven't been interested in any TS releases in a long while, so this is incredibly welcome. Thank you, DTG, I cannot wait! **!!bow!!**

If I had a nickel for every time these have been requested... Great to see these are being made, and they look very nice. You can't beat the price either!

This has me quite excited for the eventual re-release of the northeast corridor.

Just a brief quotation from Gary Dozall's article about this free add-on:

"As free bonus content to accompany the available Train Simulator Bombardier-built NJT ALP-46 electric, and for service on the acclaimed North Jersey Coast Line route, Dovetail Games is releasing the NJT Bombardier MultiLevel commuter cars next week! Available in car-cab and two coach configurations, the MultiLevels will make perfect additions to NJCL route operations and excellent complements to the already available Comet-series equipment. Two new career scenarios featuring the MultiLevels are also included in the bonus package, which will be automatically delivered to those who have purchased the NJT ALP-46 DLC or North Jersey Coast Line."

Is this "freebie" a bribe -- pardon: persuader -- in disguise? Haven't most of the freebies so far been non-route-specific? I'm not complaining in any way about freebies, just curious.

It is a question of point of view.
Any "gift" from a provider has a marketing objective. There's no such thing as a free lunch.
You can view it as an incentive, or you can view it as an upgrade to the ALP-46, perhaps because it was felt this DLC was not complete.

I don't think it is route-specific, it is rather DLC-specific. The North Jersey Coast Line route happens to include the ALP-46.

Just as an order of clarification; as I understand it, you MUST own the ALP-46 DLC to receive the actual MLV cars in the update (whenever that comes out). Simply owning the NJCL will not do anything for you. If for whatever reason you own the ALP-46 but NOT the NJCL, you would get the cars, but not the scenarios (obviously).
