Especially the Superliner coaches, the Phase IVb livery is well done with the accurate shading of blue. Will definitely pick up in a sale.

One bug detected: The Superliner cars included in the pack do not have gangway bellows.
Nobody else has noticed?

I think they are amazing...But I seen this from someone else that dont like them

"Terrible. How can you dynamic brake while in a throttle notch? There are no strobe lights, the cab windows don't open or close. You can't look behind you (the camera angle is ~180 degrees only). The sounds are from the Genesis P32AC-DM, which doesn't sound the same. Also doesn't work with the RailDriver."

What! No opening windows... That made for a much more rich sound experience mixing interior and exterior sounds at speed that's really too bad. Yeah I noticed the missing strobes as well, I am sure those could be added in as child objects down the line though hopefully. It was really a staple of the that locomotive in the Pepsi scheme. Still can't wait to get it no less.

IDK what that guy's issue is, but it works fine with RailDriver, afaik:

This has annoyed me in DTG's more recent releases.

There is absolutely no consistency with these "fun" type of features such as opening windows/doors. Some have opening doors, some have opening doors, some have both, and some have none. Some have individually controlled lights, others don't. The list can go on. Worse part is you have no idea till you buy it.

Why can't DTG keep it consistent, which is my biggest grip with them? I understand that there are multiple modelers but they should be trying to make a consistent product with similar features regardless of which employee makes it. Don't they have a Standard Operating Procedure for model development?

Once again for the 1000th time or so instead of getting on here and complaining about it why don't you write a polite note to DTG and express your unhappiness about this. I understand there is now some two hour deal where you can "un-buy" stuff so let your feet do the talking if you are unhappy with the product.

Thank you for the suggestion, I have taken you up on it and sent them this...

"Good Evening,

I have a concern with the Train Simulation franchise as a whole. I have noticed lately that some DLC has been incorporating (or lack there of) things such as opening windows and doors. There are also other fun immersion features as in depth control of lights. These features are greatly appreciated, I enjoy them a lot.

The issue is though that their implementation is quite often random, without notice theses features are incorporated on new DLC and is also sometimes not included without notice on others. There seems to be no consistency with these features.

As a project coordinator in the systems integration business I understand that little things are missed or different people work on different projects. But I don't understand why there is this inconsistency. Isn't there a SOP (standard operating procedure) for creating DLC and the features that should/need to be included on a release? Why do some DLCs have features that others don't for seemingly no rhyme or reason?

I feel disappointed when I purchase content thinking they will included these new features and then they don't when I get in game. This is amplified by not explaining or noting these features when advertising your products.

Best Regards,
Adam"

I'll be interested to see what they send back, if anything at all. *!rolleyes!*
