Even from a person that isn't a huge fan of freight operations, this route is looking pretty sweet.

Excellent news indeed! Will the route come to TS2016 or to UE4 TS2017?

There already are WP F7's in the repaint catalog or not? We do have GP9's ready to run.
GP20 could be created from the Reppo shels?
GP40's could be created from the VRC shells, GP35's are in the works.
The ALCo S2 could also be repainted.

There is a complete WP steam roster available for MSTS/OR, wouldn't it be nice if those locomotives could be re-exported to TS?

On the other hand, Marc from 3DTrains now has three routes in the works, he is already working slowly but steadily on Sherman Hill for MSTS and Tehachapi Pass for TS2016.

I spotted a WP bay window caboose with tail light in the ED article. Fine, we need that SP style caboose.
It might still be a photoshopped MSTS screen cap, though.

I missed the California Zephyr, this most famous streamlined passenger train is an absolute must for the Feather River route!
We therefor do need F3 passenger units and Budd built fluted stainless steel passenger cars, no compromises are allowed! I'll gladly buy this train as a separate DLC, but hope it will be supplied with the route, like with MSTS'.

Another mountain pass route, but it will be very welcome and it can even be quite usable in the final steam era scenarios.
It is Union Pacific Territory (with BNSF transit ?).
Looking forward to it! !*cheers*!

Really excited about this, this should bring back some MSTS memories of the 3DTrains rendition of this route. The scenery also does appear highly captivating. Unfortunately the choice of included of locomotives is just minimal, would have loved to see a WP GP9 included (Up to TS16 standards like the Soldier Summit DRGW GP9)

This route was truly a ground breaker in MSTS brought to us by 3D Trains. I spent many hours from one end to the other. I can only imagine how good it will look in the stunning colors and depth created by DTG. I recall the working wash racks for the Zepher passenger cars. Looking forward to this.
MSTS was the only sim in town at the time. Thank God we have RailWorks.
