Posted: Sun Dec 20, 2015 11:48 amI see that these locos have "working" mirrors, meaning that they move in and out. We've seen these on other engines as well: big whoop! What I still wonder is this: for several versions now, water has included very good reflection effects. Why can't these be applied to mirror surfaces? Is anyone out there working on this?

At least you can fold them in so there isn't a big useless plank blocking the side view.

Posted: Sun Dec 20, 2015 2:42 pmI wish. I had experimented with adding a mirror as a child object with the water shader tagged for the material, but it looks like the water suspended vertically lol. It's just a matter of DTG not adding a Shader to have the mirror effect to the game yet.

Posted: Sun Dec 20, 2015 3:09 pmIf the material is truly reflective (shows the world behind you), then It's possible they haven't added it due to the performance hit. Racing simulators didn't include mirrors for the longest time for same reason.
