I found some SD9 steam achievements. I believe it will be in DRGW livery for Soldier Summit.

Interesting choice, considering DRGW only had 10 of them. SP (150 units) or BN (107 units from CB&Q and GN) would make much more sense in my opinion.

But it seems to be listed before the Soldier Summit achievements. Right after a couple of Miami-WPB achievements. If the achievements are in any order, it would indicate to me that it was intended as DLC for that route. But CSX had maybe 2 SD9's from B&O? Probably never made their way down to the coast.

Alternatively: It was intended to be a BN/BNSF addon. Then due to the international sales banning, they decided to can it as it seems they are doing with most things BNSF these days. Since it also seems to have no description as to how to win the achievement. Though arguably since its not released, they wont put in the description until its released to avoid confusion.

So I guess I will side with the theory of it being a DRGW addon available in SP paint as well.

They should do a twin pack of sd9 & sd7. They are so similar in appearance and it would appeal to a lot more people as there would be a lot of marketplace addons they could do. Just my opinion but it would make a lot more sense than just one model.

The weathering looks excellent for a DTG product. I am sure the GP9 sounds will be reused. I am interested to see how this is similar or different from Golden Age Rails's SD9.

How are you sure about the sounds........oh wait, they have the same prime mover so they should sound the same.

Yea, between a GP9 and SD9 there isn't much difference in sound. Do'h.

SD9: GN/BN, SP(Black Widow and Bloody Nose), Pennsy, Rio Grande are all good...as they fit the routes/roads available. However, the SD7 was owned by all of the above plus U.P. So my two cents is that the SD7 would be better. Or they could do both...spotting differences anyone?

Louver placement on the side panels? !*don-know!*
