Looks like a really good engine that will be put to work well on the Miami and Surfliner routes. Gotta love the Phase III rolling stock that comes with it.

A mixed consist with 'some' heritage cars?
I wish they'd include a full heritage consist. We could make good use of high detail stainless steel fluted side passenger cars. To create Chiefs, Zephyrs and other famous name trains from the past.
A Pooch is only a Pooch if it growls, howls and barks like one. FDL V16 sounds are a must!

I knew there was a reason to leave MSTS behind! I had planned on modeling a P30CH, but between work, my fictional, and other projects, this was buried in the many other projects behind my upcoming SP Economy Baggage Car. I can scratch one thing off the list. I wonder what else DTG is working on...

Things
The Pooch is interesting because now we can do a bit of pre-F40PH days for scenarios.

I second that! All heritage cars since the included Phase III Amfleet IIs are only appropriate for service in the 1980s to the early 90s with the P30CHs. Did they work Empire Builders and California Zephyrs?

What I would like to see is Amtrak's Capitol Limited which was their last passenger train to have a dome car in regular service.

Of the few videos of the GE P30CH that exist, this one lets you hear them chug the best.
It was a pretty fugly looking loco IMO. But more USA loco choices is always nice.

P30CHs had P01235s much like their Electric Brothers on the NEC.
