Looks like the Steam Xmas sales has begun. I guess it's safe to say there will be nothing new released this week.

I just got an email from train Simulator advertising the sale and the Miami-West Palm route is listed as 33% off, but there doesn't seem to be any way the purchase it.

I can search for the Miami Route and see it at 33% off but when you click on it I get a blank page.

It is working now - right after posting this lol

You can buy it in the uk no problem.
I went through as far as the check out.
I'll need to wait till the new year for it though.

Sigh, another big sale, and still no ATSF SD45... *!sad!*

Think I'm going to pick up the NS Dash-8 and the Surfliner commuter twin pack, and maybe the GP50.

If you're patient and willing to wait and watch for a "flash sale" you can get the TS 2015 Steam Edition which includes the Surfliner commuter sets at a huge discount. I got my copy during the Black Friday sale for less than $9.

Thought about that. IIRC it went to like $7 over Thanksgiving, which is cheaper than the twin pack and then I'd also get the NY-NH which I may as well for the price.

Maybe off topic, but what is up with the 'marketplace' paint schemes like this not coming out years after the Loco becomes available?

I did my bit to try to keep it alive, but I think Marketplace is dead.

I would rather see freeware repaints over an overpriced marketplace repaint.

Not all repaints are overpriced - there are repaints that take more work to produce than some complete models. You should look at the prices for DLC for other games - then you might come to the conclusion that a lot of TS DLC is dirt cheap (and given away almost free - half the price of an espresso - during the all too frequent sales).

The ATSF and BN SD45s have been my highest anticipated repaints since the UP SD45 came out a bit over two years ago. Last I heard they were still waiting on some sounds or something. I'll gladly pay $5 for a repaint, mostly because that makes them eligible to use in Marketplace scenarios.

Hi all.
It is my intention to complete all the SD45 packs soon. Now I´m working with a texture artist who will give them a more realistic touch.

Well I skipped Railworks content on this sale and picked up the new Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition for $5. So DTG still got my money in the end. *!greengrin!*

Man... people were right. Buying 3rd party content for that sim can start to get really expensive when you start adding it up. !**duh*!!

I bought FSX as well when it was 75% off. I would love to have a DC10/MD11 in the sim, but for $70? Hell no.

Some of the models are pretty incredible though. I found a 757 that comes with a 400+ page manual.

As far as Railworks goes, I decided to pick up the GP20 and the GP50. I highly recommend both.
