What happened to the GP38-2 BN01 pack in the store? Could only find the BNSF GP38-2 for purchase???

If I remember correctly, buying the BNSF GP38-2 will get you the BN versions as well. That's how mine went.

The thanksgiving steam sale for railworks 2015 is going on now, most if not all the DLC is 50% to 70% off. So you might be able to pick up the BN GP38-2 set at a cheap price.

Before buying, may want to hold off for a daily flash sale of some sort just to see if it drops any lower.

The GP38-2 is one of DTG's better DLCs (and one of my favorites), so with 50% off the price I'd definitely get it.

Of course I can't see the BNSF GP38-2 in the store because I'm in Canada...
Is it the same model as the one that comes with Stevens Pass?
Ironically, Stevens Pass is offered in Canada and it comes with "EMD GP38-2 diesel locomotive in ex-BN and BNSF Heritage liveries"

I think things put online using the partner program such as Stevens pass are not affected by dtg's copyrights with bnsf because I can also see it along with the bn gp20 as well.

The Stevens Pass version is a more detailed version on the 'normal' GP38-2 DLC. It has the extended engineers window, and the whiteface version is the later paint scheme with the pinstripe on the hood.
