Canadian Route Coming Soon from RSC... [Rogers/Kicking Horse Pass]

Unread postby JohnTrainHead » Tue Dec 10, 2013 12:34 pm

RSC, or now "Dovetail Games", is making a new Canadian route. :D !*drool*! Looks like either Canadian Pacific's Rodgers Pass or Canadian National's Yellowhead Pass. What do you guys think it is? !!det!!

I don't think this is Kicking Horse Pass because I've never seen that bridge on the route... I played the MSTS version by MLT years ago. Plus it is more likely a CN route because RSC doesn't have licensing for CP as far as we know.

I'm looking forward to this route. They need to mix up the grain train though with a few different liveries and wagon types.
Depending on how far they go towards Field I may have to halt mine.

I've gone pretty far the other way.
This could actually work out pretty good for long split route scenarios covering Rodgers Pass, Kicking Horse Pass, the spiral tunnels finishing at Banff.

Actually not an RSC production at all. Jonathan Lewis has been slaving over it for quite some time.

Hopefully they fix the paintjob on those hoppers as they are wrong. The tops of the hopper under the runningboards should be black, and its very noticeable.

See these pictures for what I mean:

for this route there should be cp es44ac and s40s. now if rsc needed an ac4400cw they could modified the dash 9 unit that almost identical to ac4400cw. they have to make the battery box longer and add stepbox for battery box and move numberbords to noise and paint it cp rail that it.

I'm just happy to see our Canadian friends are getting some love. !!*ok*!!

What I find amazing about Canada is what they do with the amount of people they have. My state of California alone has more people than all of Canada combined, yet they have managed to build an amazingly large rail and road infrastructure over the years. I understand there is plenty of areas there that don't have any due to the sheer size of the country, but amazing just the same. Canada would be my 2nd favorite country on earth. The UK would be 3rd.

I never played this route in MSTS, so it's gotten my attention here. *!greengrin!*
