Thanks! I'm hoping it'll be available in time for Christmas.

You're kidding right? Is that how long it'll take to make a loco and tender?

To the level of detail to which I make them, yes. There are no shortcuts. I could do it in half that time, but it would only be half as good.

Well take twice as long then, I want to hear my graphics card sizzle and smoke billow out of the pc to add to the realism! !*roll-laugh*!

No need to be in a hurry. Most of us, including I don't mind waiting a while.

Take as long as you need. Can't wait to drive it.

As from the FB page. Mrennie, is working on it full time.

That's right! The aerospace engineering company I founded 12 years ago, along with over 20 colleagues, and that had grown to over 500, ran into hard times recently (the crisis has affected everyone, and Spain in particular, with over 27% unemployment as of this month). Our owners (we sold to them in 2009) ordered us to cut the workforce and reduce the burden of salaries, so I volunteered myself for redundancy. Officially, my last day is Tuesday, but yesterday was my last day at the office. I now intend to relax and enjoy a stress-free life, doing what I really like, which does not include going to endless, boring, useless meetings *!lol!* It does include making models of steam engines !!*ok*!!

Well, I suppose congratulations are in order!

With a pair of travelers at each windowpane.
I may sit beside you all the journey through,
Or I may sit elsewhere, never knowing you.
But if fate should mark me to sit by your side,
Let's be pleasant travellers; it's so short a ride."

This is a very good thing for us because you'll have to be productive to keep yourself in Speyside whisky. *!greengrin!*

I might even treat myself to a 12 year, or maybe a 15 year, if it sells well *!greengrin!*

I was given a 24 year old Dumbarton single malt for my 50th. Delicious!
