It would be really cool only south of Long Branch and also South Amboy and points north.

A U34CH is definitely a cool idea to use, just won't look right in included scenarios if the ALP-45DP appears as AI. It can come with Comet I coaches.

Watched the stream and it was awesome, the level crossings still flash when the gates go down, they are supposed to be silenced when the gates go down.

Route is still in intermediate development. Perhaps you should shoot them an email to let them know.

On another note, I'm not entirely sure it's possible to code them like that; I may be wrong though.

The fact that crossing bells silence is actually accurate to the NJCL. I live really close to one of the crossings and the bells do stop when the gates are down IRL. I think the best way to trigger that is by having the bell sound sound file play for the number of seconds for the gate closing animation takes to occur. But the DTG crossing gates close really fast and the bell sound is generally inaccurate for US railroads.

You are correct, the crossing bells silence on the East Coast.

Very few locations out in the Midwest do. The Racetrack actually has something similar, they shut off once the train is occupying the grade crossing and turn back on once the gates are going up or another train is approaching the crossing.

Yes, we have Comet V trailers! Still waiting on Comet IIM trailers. The PRR gantries, however, need improvement as they are way off the real PRR masts, being recycled from the NEC. However, the wires are a huge improvement.

Yeap watch the video at 6:19. Listen closely when the first express passes through and the next local hits the crossing pad. The bells shut off and turn back on.
